The ads
Do the job he left behind poster
Factory work is framed as covering for the absent man: the stressed HE turns a job application into keeping his post filled while he fights.
"Your President Says" worker poster
The President speaks to each worker directly: staying at your job until the last battle is won is a personal duty he has asked of you.
"Men wanted today" logging and sawmill recruiting poster
The woods need men today, not someday: three named jobs, one hard-swinging axe, and a government office to sign up at.
