The pattern
This commercial ad is filed under Specimen as proof.
Define
A specimen (type, material, finish) is shown so the product proves itself under comparison.
Mechanism
Controlled display. Same conditions, side by side, no adjective required. The sample is the sentence.
Verdict
Buyers choose by eye or by hand and we can put the real thing in front of them.
Why it works
The two cheapest items open the page, potatoes at 1.50 and oranges at 2.50, so the first prices a shopper sees are almost too low to argue with. The photos are close enough to judge quality, a halved orange, the marbling on the beef, and naming a GCC origin, 'سعودي' or 'عمان', signals a short trip from farm or sea to shelf.
The big idea
Four fresh staples, each given a quarter page, a close photo, its country and a per-kilo price in huge type, led by Saudi potatoes at 1.50 riyals.
The offer
Prices from 28 Rabi' II to 2 Jumada I (25 to 28 December 2019), per kilo: Saudi potatoes 1.50 SAR, Egyptian navel oranges 2.50, Omani sea bream 24.95, Saudi fresh boneless beef 28.90.
The proof
Country of origin on each panel and 'fresh' badges on the Omani fish and the Saudi beef.

Steal this when
When a grocer wants low-priced fresh staples to pull shoppers in and can show the produce well enough to be judged on sight.
The emotion
Written to Desire. It makes the Say move.
The potatoes, oranges, fish and beef are shown close and appealing, and each panel gives the per-kilo price and origin in plain view, with the offer dates at the top.
