The pattern

This film is filed under Problem-agitate-solve.

Define

Name the problem, make the cost of leaving it felt, then present the way out as relief.

Mechanism

Tension then release. The offer is not an interruption. It is the only door once the cost of staying is clear.

Verdict

The problem is known but not yet urgent

Read the pattern

Why it works

The rapid-fire 'who takes the order? who kneads? who delivers?', each answered by the same man, turns a small owner's overload into a running gag, and the posters of his own face show how much of the business is just him. The banker's arrival breaks the pattern, and the close 'إحنا معاك' is the first time anyone in the ad says 'we'. Naming easy procedures and simple documents speaks to an owner with no time for paperwork.

The big idea

The small business owner who answers 'me' to every job finally hears a different answer: the bank stands behind him with a loan.

The offer

The Tamkeen loan for small companies with annual sales of EGP 1 to 20 million, up to EGP 1 million, with easy procedures and simple documents; call 19436. Terms apply.

Lines from the ad

إحنا معاك

We're with you

طيب مين بيوصل؟

So who delivers?

Steal this when

When a product serves people who do everything themselves, and the point is that someone finally shares the load.

The emotion

Written to Amusement. It makes the Say move.

The running gag of one man answering every job is the very problem the loan addresses, so the punchline 'إحنا معاك' lands on what the bank offers.
