What the ad shows
A portrait flyer cover: glossy blue-and-white 3D 'Festive Deals' lettering with 'عروض احتفالية' beneath, set in a bright CGI kitchen, with the red Nesto block top right. Below, a white grid of product panels: a tall black Samsung fridge, a blue panel for the Tramontina pan and Denmor dinner set, then the Royalford cooker and Geepas vacuum, each with a red price over a grey struck-through one. A dense list of UAE branches, the 2 to 11 October dates and legal lines fill the foot.
Festive Deals
عروض احتفالية
Smart Choices for a Beautiful Home.
The image belongs to the brand, so we describe it here and link to where it is shown.
Nesto: Festive deals on fridges, cookware and home appliances
Nesto Hypermarket. The ad itself is shown at nestooffers.com.
The pattern
This still is filed under Price-anchoring offer.
Define
A higher reference number is shown first so the real price reads as a concession, not as a starting bid.
Mechanism
People judge a price against the first number they see. The anchor must be a real comparison or it collapses.
Verdict
We have a credible reference the buyer will accept
Why it works
Each deal is a pair of numbers, a grey struck-through price over a red one, so the saving is read before the product name. A 1,999 dirham fridge gives the page a reason for the trip, while a 25 dirham pan and an 89 dirham cooker put something within reach of every shopper. Product names run in Arabic and English, so each reader finds the item in their own script without reading the rest.
The big idea
Festive deals sell the home upgrade as smart buying: every known-brand item shows its old price struck through, so each choice carries its own proof of saving.
The offer
Samsung double-door fridge 1,999 dirhams (was 2,699), Tramontina pan 25 (was 39), Denmor 40-piece dinner set 99, Royalford pressure cooker 89, Geepas vacuum 99; 2 to 11 October 2026, while stocks last.
The proof
Named brands with model details, a struck-through old price beside every deal, Samsung feature bullets and a 2-year warranty badge on the Geepas vacuum.
Steal this when
When a multi-item retail flyer has to sell a whole category: anchor every price with the old one, pair one big-ticket hero with cheap traffic builders, and name items in both languages.
