Why it works
It uses a bizarre, humorous cartoon on the front to grab attention and transition into a pitch for digestion. Strangely, the back reverts to the standard 'Invalid Ladies' boilerplate, showing early mass-produced card blanks where the front visual didn't necessarily match the back copy.
