Why it works
Setting the title in lowercase was the unusual choice in a period of all-caps playbills, and the soft round forms read as warmth and ease, which is the product. The rust offset shadow behind each letter is a one-pass screen trick that gives depth without halftone and ties the type to the dancer's colours, so the block of copy stops feeling separate from the illustration. Palm fronds are used as a frame rather than a scene - they enter from the edges and leave the centre empty, which is how a poster with very little copy avoids looking underfilled.
Steal this when
Steal the lowercase-title move when the offer is leisure, escape or ease and every competitor is shouting in caps. Steal the edge-entering foliage frame when you have a small illustration budget and need atmosphere around a mostly typographic layout.
