The pattern
This commercial ad is filed under Price-anchoring offer.
Define
A higher reference number is shown first so the real price reads as a concession, not as a starting bid.
Mechanism
People judge a price against the first number they see. The anchor must be a real comparison or it collapses.
Verdict
We have a credible reference the buyer will accept
Why it works
Naming the cities at the top, 'جدة - مكة - الطائف - المدينة المنورة فقط', stops shoppers elsewhere from driving to a branch without the deal and tells western-region shoppers this list is theirs. Each cut is priced per kilo over its old price, so the deepest markdowns, liver from 39.95 to 22.99 and trotters from 26.25 to 13.99, do the selling. Naming the Harri breed speaks to buyers who ask for local lamb by name.
The big idea
Fresh meat is sold region by region: four cuts at per-kilo prices, each with its old price struck through, and only for the four western cities named at the top.
The offer
Per kilo: Harri lamb 99.99 SAR (was 129.95), Brazilian minced beef 34.99 (was 44.95), beef liver 22.99 (was 39.95), beef trotters 13.99 (was 26.25). Jeddah, Makkah, Taif, Madinah only, until 6 October 2026.
The proof
The Mondelli badge, 'SINCE 1935', vouches for the minced beef.

Fresh DealsSteal this when
When a chain's fresh offers differ by region and one card has to tell each shopper at a glance whether the deal is theirs.
