Riyad Bank: redeem Hassad points for Carrefour vouchers, get 10% more
RiyadBank · X · https://x.com/RiyadBank/status/2102051533366133204 · Embedded from X
The pattern
This commercial ad is filed under If-then promise.
Define
A conditional contract: if you do this, you get that. The sentence can be tested against the reader's own case.
Mechanism
Specificity does the persuading. The if names the action. The then names the outcome. Hedging kills it.
Verdict
We can name both the action and the result without adjectives
Why it works
The 10 is the largest thing on the page, under the words قيمة إضافية, so the reader learns the size of the bonus before learning where it applies. Below it a Carrefour tote full of tomatoes and greens sits on a lit blue plinth in front of the glass Carrefour mark, which turns idle points into a grocery run the reader can picture. The fine print limits the bonus to 21 to 28 September or until vouchers run out, a real deadline that gives members a reason to redeem now instead of saving points.
The big idea
Turn Hassad points into a Carrefour voucher this week and the voucher is worth 10% more, shown as a full Carrefour grocery bag on a lit plinth.
The offer
Redeem Hassad points for Carrefour vouchers in the Riyad Bank app and get 10% extra value on the voucher, 21 to 28 September 2026 or while vouchers last.

Steal this when
Use when a loyalty programme wants members to spend stored points, and a short bonus on one everyday retailer gives them a reason to do it this week.
