Payment plan as offer

What the ad shows

A deep electric-blue backdrop of heavy curtains. At the bottom a bearded Saudi man in a white thobe and red-and-white shemagh reclines on a beige sofa, hands behind his head, looking up content. Above him the big white headline 'قسّطها ولا تشيل هم', with the 'لا' drawn as the brand's looping logo mark, sits over the logo, the line 'قسّط الآن بدفعات مريحة من خلال شركائنا', the tamara, baseeta and tabby logos and 'في معارضنا والمتجر الإلكتروني'.

Saudi Ceramics: Pay in instalments and stop worrying

Saudi CeramicsCountry: Saudi ArabiaLanguage: Saudi dialect

Saudi Ceramics. The ad itself is shown at shop.saudiceramics.com.

The pattern

This still is filed under Payment plan as offer.

Define

The installment structure is the headline, not a footnote under a cash price.

Mechanism

Affordability architecture. Monthly number, tenure, and what is included do the closing. Kin to price-anchoring, but the product is the plan.

Verdict

The cash price would stall the household and a real plan exists: property, auto, education, elective care.

Read the pattern

Why it works

'ولا تشيل هم' (and don't carry the worry) is everyday Saudi speech, so a credit product sounds like a friend's advice rather than a finance pitch. The man's posture is the benefit: hands behind his head, eyes up, the after-state instead of the goods. The 'لا' in 'ولا' is drawn as the brand's logo mark, signing the line from inside, and three instalment partners let the shopper use whichever app they already have.

The big idea

Splitting the payment lifts the worry of a big home bill, shown not as tiles or heaters but as a Saudi man leaning back on his sofa at ease.

The offer

Instalments with tamara, baseeta and tabby, in the showrooms and the online store; terms apply.

Steal this when

When instalments or financing are sold for big home purchases: write the reassurance in dialect and show the relaxed customer after the decision, not the goods.

The emotion

Written to Anxiety. It makes the Avoid mistake.

The headline 'قسّطها ولا تشيل هم' is a plain 'don't worry': it names three instalment partners but gives no number of payments, cost or terms, so the reassurance comes without detail.
