Why it works
The composition uses extreme perspective and stark contrast to create a sense of monumental scale and modernity (the bridge). The circular inset of wheat acts as a visual anchor and a symbolic counterpoint, immediately communicating the tension between the two poets' themes (city/industry vs. country/nature) using purely photographic elements rather than illustration. The bold red typography unifies the disparate parts.
