Why it works
The whole book runs on scale contrast and a fixed control text. Because the same Cicero passage appears at every size in every style, the reader's eye is forced onto the one variable that is actually for sale, the letterform, and the comparison feels like evidence rather than persuasion. Isolating one fount per page removes any competing element, so each page is a single uninterrupted demonstration with no argument to lose. Ordering the book from the largest display down to the smallest text sizes puts the shock first: the fat faces at the front do the stopping, the text faces at the back do the closing.
Steal this when
Use this when the product is craft and any verbal claim about it would be weaker than showing it. Fix one neutral control subject, run it through every variant you sell, put one variant per page with nothing else on the page, and lead with your most extreme capability before your most commercial one.
