Verdict
We publish on a fixed schedule and need instant recognition plus a new image every time.
Why it works
Three tone values only - bare paper, mechanical screen, solid black - so depth comes from tone rather than from perspective drawing, and the screened wedge reads as behind the disc with no overlap trick. The hairlines run past every shape into empty paper, which converts the void from background into measured space; that is why a sheet this empty does not feel underfilled. The small black cross below the disc is a counterweight - cover it and the whole arrangement tips left.
Steal this when
Use this when a layout has one dominant heavy element and a lot of empty field: extend hairline rules past the mass into the space, and drop one small dense mark opposite it so the composition stops tipping.
