The pattern

This still is filed under Image carries the claim.

Define

One image does the entire argument. Copy, if any, is a caption, not a second ad.

Mechanism

Pictorial claim. The picture is readable as a sentence. If we need a paragraph, we picked the wrong picture.

Verdict

The idea is visual and the surface is a poster, a feed, or a silent frame.

Why it works

The demonstration is the argument - rather than publishing a manifesto about elementarist colour, the journal hands the subscriber a hand-coloured plate so the theory arrives as a thing you can hold up to your own ceiling. Painting the ceiling planes against the room's actual geometry is the whole point: the colour deliberately contradicts the architecture to prove colour is an independent construction material, and the black floor removes the usual base so the planes float. The caption is treated as a fourth element, letterspaced and quiet, crediting the collaborator and pinning the plate to a numbered issue, which turns a loose sheet into a citable document.

Steal this when

Use this when you are arguing for a method and words are losing to habit. Ship a physical worked example as a supplement to the argument, credit the collaborators by name, and number it so the example can be referenced later rather than lost.
