The pattern

This still is filed under Image carries the claim.

Define

One image does the entire argument. Copy, if any, is a caption, not a second ad.

Mechanism

Pictorial claim. The picture is readable as a sentence. If we need a paragraph, we picked the wrong picture.

Verdict

The idea is visual and the surface is a poster, a feed, or a silent frame.

Read the pattern

Why it works

A single numeral does the work of a sentence, and sizing it to a third of the headline block means the poster's news is legible before any word is read. The cream letters carry a green offset outline rather than a solid drop shadow, which buys depth and a second colour on the type without a third pass on the stone. The sheet is built as two zones with a hard boundary - a distance zone and a counter zone - so the same printed object serves the traveller crossing the hall and the traveller standing at the board, which is why the table can be as dense as it is. Inside that dense grid, the exception is colour-coded: the dining-car trains carry a letter prefix defined in one line at the foot, so a reader never has to hold a rule in their head while scanning.

Steal this when

Steal this for any we-have-added-N-of-X announcement where the count is the whole news - more flights, more slots, more coverage. Set the number enormous, keep one line of context beside it, and put the full verifiable detail in a clearly separated panel below so the claim and the receipt live on the same sheet.
