Our Lines (Rural Electrification Administration poster)
The pattern
This still is filed under Image carries the claim.
Define
One image does the entire argument. Copy, if any, is a caption, not a second ad.
Mechanism
Pictorial claim. The picture is readable as a sentence. If we need a paragraph, we picked the wrong picture.
Verdict
The idea is visual and the surface is a poster, a feed, or a silent frame.
Why it works
The headline does the entire strategic job in two words by swapping the pronoun: not the power company's lines, ours. That single possessive converts a government program into collective property and makes the reader a shareholder before any argument is made. The photomontage backs it with faces rather than hardware, so the subject of the poster is the group, not the current. The tilted lozenge reads simultaneously as a piece of cable and as a speech banner, which lets one shape carry both the product and the voice.
Steal this when
Use this when you are selling a cooperative, a membership, a union or any collectively owned thing and the audience suspects it belongs to someone else. Lead with the possessive pronoun and put a photograph of the actual members, not the product, under it.
