Why it works
The message is voiced by the child, not the campaigner, which turns a prohibition into a boast and sidesteps the resistance a direct instruction from a temperance league would trigger. The composition is a single paired contrast, warm tones and physical contact on the left, cold green isolation on the right, so the argument is settled by the picture before the line is read. Setting the script headline in warm gold on a solid black band separates voice from scene and lets the words read as a caption spoken out of the image, and the lack of any instruction, dues or address keeps the poster an attitude rather than an ask.
Steal this when
Use this when direct instruction would put your audience's back up: give the line to the person who benefits from the behaviour rather than to the authority demanding it. The two-figure contrast in one frame is the right device whenever your before and after can be shown simultaneously instead of sequentially.
