La Troupe de Mademoiselle Eglantine - poster
The pattern
This still is filed under Iconic figure claim.
Define
A single figure, drawn, silhouetted, or posed, is the whole claim. You can read it across a street.
Mechanism
Compression into a body. The figure is not decoration. It is the sentence. Distance-legibility is the test.
Verdict
Poster scale, outdoor, packaging at a glance
Why it works
The lettering is placed in the one dead zone the choreography creates, the empty floor, so nothing overlaps and nothing competes. Reducing four figures to line drawings and letting only the legs carry solid black turns the kick into the poster's entire graphic structure - at distance you see four black strokes in sequence, which is literally what the act is. The near-repetition with small differences in each face and each angle stops the row reading as wallpaper and makes it read as a moment.
Steal this when
You are advertising a performance, a class, a team or any group act where the motion is the product: draw or shoot the signature move in a repeating row rather than posing the cast. Use the name-stack under the title when individual members carry more pull than the group name does.
