The pattern

This still is filed under Iconic figure claim.

Define

A single figure, drawn, silhouetted, or posed, is the whole claim. You can read it across a street.

Mechanism

Compression into a body. The figure is not decoration. It is the sentence. Distance-legibility is the test.

Verdict

Poster scale, outdoor, packaging at a glance

Why it works

Scale carries the meaning. The man is drawn at twice the maid's size and shoved to the front of the picture plane while she is set back and small, so the power difference is legible before the title is read. Reducing the palette to black, red, grey-green and paper white forces the flesh and the coin into the only warm colour on the sheet, which is where the eye lands. The brush script is drawn to ride the contour of the hat and shoulders rather than sit on a baseline, so the word and the figure occupy the same shape and the poster reads as one mark at hoarding distance. The coin is tiny and the only fine detail in the piece - the viewer must lean in for it, which is the joke's payoff.

Steal this when

Use this when the whole proposition is one loaded transaction between two unequal parties. Draw the stronger party huge and frontal, the weaker one small and behind, put the object of the exchange at the exact centre in the smallest detail on the sheet, and let the title curve over the figure instead of sitting above it.
