Why it works
The type is graded into four clear sizes so a passer-by reads the whole poster in the right order without effort: who, what, when, how much. Hand-lettering rather than typesetting lets each line be stretched to fill its exact measure, which is why the block feels solid with no rivers of white. The red brush NOW. is the only element that ignores the baseline grid, so the eye lands on the urgency last and leaves with it. Putting the price low and small but explicit removes the main objection to an unfamiliar art form without making cheapness the pitch.

Use this hierarchy when you are selling an unfamiliar performance or event and the name of the performer is the only real asset you have - name first, category second, urgency third, price last.
