Why it works
This is the same lettering suite as the undated Myra Kinch bill, reworked into a date-first layout for a booked engagement - the selling order is inverted, with when and where at the top and who further down, because for a one-night stand the date is the perishable fact. The empty deco panel is a production device, a reserved window for a photograph, a cut of the dancer or an overprinted bill, and the chevron fans exist to make that hole look intentional rather than unfinished. Boxing the price in the lower left corner gives the one number a reader hunts for a fixed place to be found. The tax inc. line kills a small objection before it is raised.
Steal this when
You have one dated engagement and a reusable identity, and the artwork in the middle will change from booking to booking. Lead with date and venue, reserve a framed window for the changing element, and lock the price into a corner box.
