Why it works
The landscape format forces a horizontal reading order, so the card is built as a five-line news bulletin - date, title, authors, what it is, what it costs, where - each line a complete unit. Prices are given in full including the cheap matinee, which removes the main objection before it forms. The struck-through performance times are the honest tell of jobbing print: the house corrected the schedule by hand rather than reprint, and the crossing-out reads as current information rather than as damage.
Steal this when
Steal the five-line bulletin structure for any horizontal card or banner where the reader is moving past and gets one pass. Steal the full price ladder, cheapest tier included, when affordability is the real objection and vagueness would cost you the sale.
