A touch of brimstone" - triangle comedy of backstage life
The pattern
This still is filed under Event symbol poster.
Define
A symbol or allegory that makes an event feel like a destination. Not a timetable. A magnet.
Mechanism
Attraction by emblem. Date and venue ride under a picture that already means come.
Verdict
We are filling a room, a night, or a run of dates
Why it works
The illustration carries the premise so the copy never has to explain it - three faces, one glance, and the word triangle is confirmed rather than introduced. The type block is a deliberate descending ladder of commitment: what it is, when it opens, what it costs, where it is, which is the order a passer-by actually asks in. Red is spent only on the genre word, the venue and the punctuation, so the eye lands on comedy and Columbia even at walking pace.
Steal this when
Reach for this layout on a horizontal format seen in passing - a window card, a banner, a paid social wide image - where one drawing can state the premise and the words only have to answer what, when, how much, where, in that order.
