The pattern
This still is filed under Demonstration ad.
Define
The product does the arguing. The viewer sees the thing work, not a slogan about the thing working.
Mechanism
Proof by performance. The claim is the action: a visible, testable result the reader can replay.

Why it works
The bicycle is barely shown - one wheel, a handlebar, a pedal - because the object being sold is the social permission, not the machine. The rider is drawn calm, upright and fully dressed, which answers the period objection that cycling was unladylike, and the two upturned children supply approval without a testimonial line. Flattening the bulb fields into horizontal colour bands gives the sheet its poster-distance legibility and dates the scene as unmistakably Dutch. Putting the type on a trellis panel keeps the lettering inside the picture's world instead of floating over it.
Steal this when
Use this when the real objection is social rather than functional - the prospect is worried about how buying it makes them look. Show the ideal user being admired in the act, crop the product almost out of frame, and let the surroundings carry the identity.
