Batelco: Postpaid World plan for data and calls abroad

The pattern
This commercial ad is filed under Headline · visual lockup.
Define
Headline and picture are one sentence. Remove either half and the claim disappears.
Mechanism
Lockup. The line names what the image will not. The image shows what the line cannot. They are not redundant.
Verdict
We have a picture that completes a short line: wit, contrast, or a second meaning.
Why it works
The landmarks are drawn as the peaks of an audio waveform: Bahrain's World Trade Center and the Kuwait Towers sit in the same glowing line as the Colosseum and the Eiffel Tower, so one signal runs from home to abroad, which is exactly what Use your data and calls, locally and abroad promises. The woman smiling over her shoulder mid-call, laptop under her arm, puts the plan in the middle of a work trip. World in the plan name becomes the picture rather than a label.
The big idea
One plan, one signal from home to abroad: Gulf and European landmarks join a single glowing sound wave behind a woman taking a call on the move.
