Define
The first voice on the page is a customer's. Proof arrives before the company's claim.
Mechanism
Borrowed voice. The lead sentence is already someone else's verdict. The seller speaks second.
Verdict
The result is easier to believe from a peer
Why it works
The headline is a crowd's greeting, not the maker's claim: this is how Aspro is welcomed on its return to Egypt. Three grinning men in tarbooshes run down the column beside a block titled what people say, so the reader meets happy users before the list of pains the tablets treat. The pack drawing and the price for 2 and 27 tablets at the foot tell a reader who went without it during the war that it is back on the shelf.
The big idea
Aspro is back in Egypt after the war, greeted by smiling customers with a hearty welcome, and at the same prices as before the war.
The offer
Aspro tablets, made in England, at pre-war prices: 2 tablets for 5 milliemes, 27 tablets for 5 piastres. For headaches, sunstroke, colds, nerve pain, fevers and throat inflammation.
The proof
A block headed What people say, with signed letters from named readers, plus the claims that it is made in England and does not harm the heart.
Lines from the ad

Steal this when
When a known product comes back after an absence and you can let customers announce the return for you.
The emotion
Written to Relief. It makes the Say move.
It speaks to readers who went without Aspro through the war: grinning men greet its return, and the same prices as before the war give that release a figure anyone can check.
