تسوق انت وعائلتك في جرير قبل الزحمة
The pattern
This film is filed under Event urgency drive.
Define
An external event (a shutdown, a deadline, a migration) becomes the reason to act this week.
Mechanism
Calendar shock. Unlike scarcity-close (our limit), this limit is in the world. We point at it. We do not invent it.
Verdict
The event is real and the reader's inaction has a dated cost.
Why it works
The opening is a calendar joke every parent knows, 'باقي على المدارس شهر ونص' and then suddenly 'باقي يوم', and the sign held up in a crowded aisle shows the cost of waiting. Shopping early is then framed as safety in 2020, space to keep distance with the family, and the VAT the store absorbs makes early the cheaper choice as well.
The big idea
A month and a half before school always turns into one day before school, so Jarir asks families to shop now, while the aisles are quiet.
The offer
Jarir's back-to-school festival before the crowd: Jarir covers the full 15% VAT in showrooms and on jarir.com, with room to shop as a family at a safe distance.
Lines from the ad

Steal this when
When a seasonal peak predictably crowds the store and a retailer can reward customers, in money or comfort, for coming before it.
The emotion
Written to Dread. It makes the Say move.
It names the pre-school rush parents see coming and gives a concrete step ahead of it: come to the festival now, in the quiet hours, with the VAT covered.
