The pattern
This film is filed under Testimonial lead.
Define
The first voice on the page is a customer's. Proof arrives before the company's claim.
Mechanism
Borrowed voice. The lead sentence is already someone else's verdict. The seller speaks second.
Verdict
The result is easier to believe from a peer
Why it works
1986' persuades before a word is heard: a relationship that long is evidence no slogan can match. The customers speak in everyday Kuwaiti, 'أحسه وايد حريص على مصلحتي', which sounds like a judgment earned over years rather than a scripted line. For a salary account, where the customer is asked to place their income with the bank, decades of loyalty answer the real question: will it still look after me later.
The big idea
Instead of claiming trust, the bank puts customers since 1986 and 1996 on camera and lets them say, in their own words, that it has never let them down.
The offer
A salary account with NBK, signposted by the campaign tag and the salary link in the description.
The proof
Named long-standing customers, captioned 'customer since 1986' and 'since 1996', speaking about the bank's care and honesty.
Lines from the ad
I feel it really looks out for my interests
I feel a great deal of honesty with it
1986Customer since 1986
Steal this when
When a long-standing brand needs to win a high-trust switch and has real customers who have stayed for decades.
The emotion
Written to Trust. It makes the Say move.
It shows trust kept over years rather than asking for faith: customers since 1986 and 1996 testify, in their own words, that the bank has never let them down.
