Why it works
The ornament carries the whole identity and the type carries only the facts - by crowding the pattern into the left edge and the corners, the designer buys a clean flush-left column for six lines of address without the card looking plain. Reversing the lettering out of a solid ground on coloured stock gives a small, cheap piece the weight of an engraved mark, which is exactly the impression a furniture firm called De Eenvoud wants to make. The break between the factory block and the showroom block is a pure pause with no rule or label, and it does the work of two headings.
Steal this when
Use this when you need a compact identity piece that must carry two addresses and no argument, and the design itself has to signal the taste level. Push the ornament into one edge and the corners, reverse flush-left type out of a solid ground, and let a single line space separate where things are made from where they are sold.
