Why it works
The type is quarantined in a single black block at the foot so the figure never has to compete with words, and the orange of the letters is pulled straight from the border and the apron, which locks image and information into one palette. Reading order is set by weight: the exhibition name is largest, the venue is a size down, the dates are smallest but still in the same block, so a passer-by gets what, where and when in three drops of the eye. The costumed figure does the emotional work of nationhood in a single frame, which is why no copy line is needed at all.
Steal this when
Use this when an event is national or regional in character and you want identity to carry it - one costumed or emblematic figure full-length against flat colour, all the practical information stacked in a single contrasting block at the foot. It is also the right structure whenever your dates and venue are unavoidable clutter and must be kept off the artwork.
