The pattern
This still is filed under Event symbol poster.
Define
A symbol or allegory that makes an event feel like a destination. Not a timetable. A magnet.
Mechanism
Attraction by emblem. Date and venue ride under a picture that already means come.
Verdict
We are filling a room, a night, or a run of dates
Why it works
The clock is doing double duty as a metaphor and as a map: the dial says time, the counties inside it say who this is for, and the radiating wedges turn a list of activities into a single image you read in one second. That is the poster trick of collapsing an inventory into one governing symbol rather than setting a bulleted list. The typographic hierarchy is brutally disciplined - four sizes, one family, everything centred - so a reader at ten feet gets the institution, at five feet gets the event, and at arm's length gets the times. Flat silkscreen colour with white line drawing keeps twelve figures legible without a single halftone.
Steal this when
You are announcing one event that bundles many disconnected offerings and a bulleted list would kill it. Find the single object that all of them orbit, put it dead centre, and ring it with the variety.
