Why it works
The poster is a schedule, not an argument: every element answers one buying question - what, where, when, how much - and nothing competes for attention. The pennant is a deliberate shape break in an otherwise rectilinear layout, so the opening date is the one thing the eye cannot file with the rest of the type. The silhouettes establish genre - a couple, a suburban house, domestic comedy - with no drawn detail and no extra ink. The prices are set in the accent red, so the cheapest number in the layout is the second thing read after the title.
Steal this when
Use this when demand already exists and the job is pure logistics: an event, a screening, a launch date where the audience needs the facts, not persuasion. It is also the right model when price is the real selling point and should be coloured rather than buried.
