Why it works
The landscape is the poster and the title is placed inside it rather than on top of it, so the words native ground are literally printed on ground. A plough left standing in an unfinished field is a narrative device, not decoration: someone walked away, and the poster does not say why, which is the hook. Placing the title over the busiest texture on the sheet would normally fail, but the yellow is the only high-key colour used in the lower half, so it separates on hue instead of on a box.
Steal this when
Use this when the subject has a physical setting that carries the theme, and you want the headline to feel discovered rather than applied. Set the type inside the image on a hue nothing else uses.
