Why it works
The whole sheet argues by ritual rather than by benefit: pouring, receiving, kneeling and reading are one continuous diagonal, so the viewer reads a transaction without a word of copy. Framing it as a niche with an altar, a flame and a crowd of witnesses borrows the authority of church and guild for a new and unglamorous institution, evening classes for workers. Two inks and a single ornament vocabulary hold a very busy drawing together, and the black top band is the only flat mass on the page, which is why the name reads first. Setting the town name at the base, separate from the institution name at the top, lets one design serve a network of branches by changing one word.
Steal this when
Copy this when you are selling education, membership or initiation and the promise is transformation rather than a feature set. The top-band name plus foot-band location is also the right structure when one template has to be localised across many towns or branches.
