Why it works
Colour does the linking work a sentence would otherwise have to do: every phrase belonging to the tie-in - TEXAS STEER, "A TEXAS STEER", MASON - is red, so the reader connects sandwich to show to venue without anything explaining the joke. The verb pair try then see builds a two-step path where the first step costs almost nothing, which is exactly the ladder a cheap front-end offer uses to earn the larger sale. One drawing serves both products, since the steer is at once the meat and the title.
