Why it works
The picture carries the premise with no synopsis - a house sliding off a ridge and a smashed wagon state displacement faster than a sentence could, so the copy is free to spend itself on credit and venue. NOW is printed on a separate torn paper plane so it reads as a strip pasted over the bill, which is how urgency was physically added to posters and which lets one design serve a whole run. Everything else is arranged along the hill's diagonal, so title, image and venue are taken in one sweep from upper left to lower right.
Steal this when
Use this when the audience already knows the news event behind your subject - show the situation itself instead of explaining the plot or the product. The pasted-on NOW plate is worth stealing any time you need urgency layered onto an otherwise evergreen layout without redesigning it.
