Why it works
Scarcity is the lead, not the show. POSITIVELY LAST WEEK is placed top left where the eye lands first, so the card sells a closing date rather than a title. The dancers are drawn mid-motion with the dress and limbs crossing the type, which puts the figure and the lettering on the same plane and keeps the whole panel active in the half second a rider has. Three flat screens with no halftone keeps the image readable from across a moving car, and the venue name is given the widest, heaviest setting on the card because the destination is the only thing a rider must carry away.
