Why it works
Everything rides on the corner-and-banner grid. The name is one hard band of display type at the top, the four sales facts are demoted to corner ribbons, and the middle is left entirely to the picture, so a thing the size of a postage stamp still reads at arm's length. The allegory does the persuasion by compression: instead of describing an Anglo-French exhibition, it shows the two nations physically shaking hands, which is one image carrying a whole diplomatic argument. Printing in a single ink and letting the cream paper be the highlight keeps the crosshatched engraving legible at this scale where a four-colour job would have gone muddy.
Steal this when
You have a tiny canvas - an app icon, a sticker, a badge, a thumbnail - and four non-negotiable facts plus one image. Push the facts into the corners on ribbons or tabs, give the name a single banner, and leave the whole middle to one picture that argues the idea rather than illustrating it.
