Why it works
The tilted playbill inside the poster is the mechanism. Instead of setting a list flush into the layout, the designer draws the list as a physical object dropped on top of the illustration, which gives a dull roster of names the energy of the scene behind it and keeps the list from looking like small print. The numeral 9 does the standard specificity job, and the nine names below it deliver on the count exactly, so the claim is self-proving. Dark ground plus three bright inks means the yellow title is the brightest thing in the window, which is all a street poster needs.
Steal this when
Use this when your offer is a bundle and the proof is simply the length of the list. Draw the list as a tilted, torn-edge insert laid over the art rather than setting it as a tidy column, so the inventory reads as abundance instead of admin.
