Why it works
The title is the trick. Incident is newsroom language, and pairing it with Trojan reframes a 2,400-year-old play as something that just happened, while the smaller line based on Homer and Euripides immediately restores the prestige the retitling gave away. The layout uses scale contrast rather than colour contrast: an enormous silent shape at the top, tiny active figures at the bottom, and the empty blue between them reads as dread. Colour is used as allegiance, blue for the Trojan victims and orange for the Greek soldiers, so the conflict is legible before a word is read.
Steal this when
Use this when your material is prestigious but sounds dated or academic. Retitle in contemporary, slightly journalistic language and put the authoritative source in a smaller line directly underneath so you keep the credibility you just traded away.
