Why it works
The mechanism is testimonial with the highest possible source: the poster does not praise the queen, it quotes her, and GEDENKT HAAR WOORDEN turns the reader into the audience of a speech rather than the target of a message. The floral surround is not decoration but framing device - by walling the text into a black tablet inside a garland, the designer reproduces the visual grammar of a memorial plaque or a wreath, which pre-loads the reading with reverence before a word is parsed. Inside the tablet, three lettering registers do the emphasis work that type weight normally does, and colour carries the argument: orange, the Orange dynasty's colour, is used only on the dates, on the queen's own strongest sentence, and on the pledge. The verse at the foot converts the quotation into a chant, ending on a two-word imperative.
Steal this when
