Why it works
The composition is a single interlocking silhouette: two black figures frame a green one, and the eye reads shape before it reads subject, which is what makes the poster legible from a distance. The three figures are a compressed programme, painting, women and music, so the poster lists the attractions without a list. The black type band is not a footer but the ground the figures stand on, which welds information to image instead of stacking them. Orange appears exactly twice, on the palette and on the word LAREN, so the place name and the art are visually the same claim.
Steal this when
Use this when an event is a bundle of several attractions and no single one would carry the poster alone. Cast one flat figure per attraction, lock them into one silhouette, and run the practical details in a solid band the figures physically stand on.
