The pattern
This still is filed under Demonstration ad.
Define
The product does the arguing. The viewer sees the thing work, not a slogan about the thing working.
Mechanism
Proof by performance. The claim is the action: a visible, testable result the reader can replay.

Why it works
The product never appears. The poster substitutes effect for object - closed eyes, a rose lifted to the face - so the viewer supplies the smell themselves, which is the only way a printed sheet can advertise a scent. The lettering is quarantined in a white panel sealed off by its own frame, so the brand stays legible from across a street while the picture below runs uninterrupted, and the dipping point of that panel physically aims the eye down into the figure. Colour finishes the job: one flat rose-to-crimson field behind the figure makes pale skin and white gown the brightest thing on the sheet, and holding the secondary lines in olive-gold leaves the red J.C. BOLDOOT as the only shouting element.
Steal this when
Reach for this when the product is a sensory experience that cannot be photographed - perfume, sound, taste - and show a person in the middle of the sensation instead of the thing causing it, with the name banked in a separate clean panel so identification never depends on decoding the picture.
