Define
The product does the arguing. The viewer sees the thing work, not a slogan about the thing working.
Mechanism
Proof by performance. The claim is the action: a visible, testable result the reader can replay.

Why it works
With nothing to say but a name and a street, Chéret makes the typography the picture: the dealer's name runs nearly the full width at display size with a swash underlining it, so it reads as a signature rather than a shop sign. The figure is deliberately quiet and pastel, and the one saturated element - the yellow hat - is placed directly behind the face so the eye is handed down from the name, to the girl, to the address, in that order. The poster is also a demonstration of the goods: the thing hanging on the wall is the exact product Sagot sells, so the ad and the merchandise are the same object.
Steal this when
A retailer, gallery or studio whose only message is that it exists and where it is. Give the whole page to the name at maximum size, let the image set tone rather than argue, and put the address where the eye lands last.
