The pattern

This still is filed under Demonstration ad.

Define

The product does the arguing. The viewer sees the thing work, not a slogan about the thing working.

Mechanism

Proof by performance. The claim is the action: a visible, testable result the reader can replay.

Read the pattern

Why it works

It dramatises a negative attribute - the puncture that will not happen - by staging the attempt to cause it, which is the oldest form of product demonstration and needs no copy to explain. Three faces all looking at the same object drag the reader's eye to the wheel and model the reaction the advertiser wants. The dealer name sits above and the product name below, so one sheet works as the shop's poster and the brand's poster at the same time.

Steal this when

Your claim is that something will not fail. Show a person actively trying to break it in front of witnesses, instead of writing the word guaranteed.
