The pattern
This still is filed under Demonstration ad.
Define
The product does the arguing. The viewer sees the thing work, not a slogan about the thing working.
Mechanism
Proof by performance. The claim is the action: a visible, testable result the reader can replay.

Why it works
The line does the selling and the picture makes it credible: a sceptical-looking old man, the hardest kind of coffee drinker to fool, is shown drinking it without complaint. The product line is built as a concession followed by a rescue - it admits outright that this is a substitute, then names the ingredient that removes the sacrifice, which is far more believable than claiming to be coffee. Pushing the figure into the lower left leaves a clear diagonal for the brand script, so name and face never compete, and the steam rendered as bare paper keeps the hot drink legible in a piece with almost no colour.
Steal this when
Use when you sell the cheaper version of something and cannot pretend otherwise: name the category honestly, add the one ingredient or feature that removes the sacrifice, and show a hard-to-please user consuming it without comment.
