The pattern
This still is filed under Demonstration ad.
Define
The product does the arguing. The viewer sees the thing work, not a slogan about the thing working.
Mechanism
Proof by performance. The claim is the action: a visible, testable result the reader can replay.
Verdict
We can show a result in seconds
Why it works
The perspective runs the lamps and the heads down a single hard diagonal, which pulls the eye from the far end of the table straight into the cropped face at the near edge, so the viewer is placed at the table rather than in front of the poster. Repeating the same act five times is the whole argument, the numbers do the persuading and no adjective is spent on quality. Price is given the second-largest type on the sheet, directly under the title and beside the publisher, so the offer terms are legible at poster distance while the scene works up close. Copies are shown racked, stacked and bound, which quietly sells the annual subscription rather than the single issue.
Steal this when
Use this when the product is consumed in public and the buyer wants to belong: show several of the right people using it at once, crop the nearest one so the viewer stands in their place, and put the price in the band rather than in the picture.
