Chocolat Idéal (Compagnie Française des Chocolats et des Thés) - poster
The pattern
This still is filed under Demonstration ad.
Define
The product does the arguing. The viewer sees the thing work, not a slogan about the thing working.
Mechanism
Proof by performance. The claim is the action: a visible, testable result the reader can replay.

Why it works
The demand comes from the children, not from the advertiser, which moves the pitch from a claim about taste to an observed household fact the buyer already recognises. The line in the mouth of a child, Donne P'tit' Maman., is the closest thing in the piece to a call to action and it works because the reader has to answer it as a parent rather than as a shopper. The steam is drawn as ornament that climbs into the decorative border, which makes the product physically continuous with the design instead of a prop. Unusually for a Mucha sheet there is a price and a pack shot, so the poster closes the loop from desire to what to ask for at the counter.
Steal this when
Use this when the buyer and the user are different people and the user's demand is the real trigger. Let the user voice the ask in their own words, show the exact pack the buyer must recognise on a shelf, and put a specific unit price nearby so the decision takes no arithmetic.
